Services

Toshiba T&D do Brasil offers solutions and technological support for the execution of many technical assistance services in transformers, reactors and step voltage regulators that can be performed in site and in factory, in equipment of its own or manufactured by other companies

Supplies supervision and procurement for machines, material and auxiliary labor for Assembly, Oil Treatment, Commissioning and Start-up through partnerships with countless companies from the Services area (all duly evaluated and registered), in order to supply better and prompt services in accordance with our customers’ needs, taking into account the standards ISO 9001 (2000 version) and ISO 14001 (2004 version).

Among the services that we perform, we also highlight:
• General maintenance;
• Reform, revitalization and re-powering;
• Technological updating;
• Diagnosis, including of on-load tap changers;
• Electric tests in equipment;
• Chemical tests in material and raw material;
• Core and coil drying process;
• Training of maintenance and operation;

• Supply of special insulation for coils;
• Wrapping and insulation of wires and cables;
• Cut of silicon steel plates (longitudinal and transversal);

EHVL and Test Facilities

The EHVL (Extra High Voltage Laboratory) has last generation equipment to perform the most complex tests in transformers and reactors in accordance with national and international standards and specifications. EHVL has the capacity to perform impulse tests up to 2400 kV, and is completely shielded against electromagnetic interferences and is also acoustically insulated.

Our test facilities and our chemical laboratory are capable to test all the equipments that we manufacture and to execute almost all the test in components, materials and raw materials, like as: on-load tap changers, insulating oil, rubbers, paintings, papers, surface treatment of iron
pieces, etc., used in our various manufacturing lines.

Toshiba posses the Certifications awarded by BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International) for the Quality Management (ISO 9001 - version 2000 - since 2002) and Environmental Management (ISO 14001 - version 2004 - since January 2006).

In the Quality Management our commitment is observed in the use
of modern equipment and professionals highly trained in our Excellence
Center of Research, Design and Manufacturing of transformers, circuit
breakers and surge arresters (Hamakawasaki Works - Kawasaki, Japan).
